This salt is totally natural and is mined by workers and vehicles in the mine and for lumps sizes (more than 4 Kg), all be separated by colors and sizes in the mine and then packed in big loose bags. If it needs to be crushed to smaller sizes that are suitable for grinders and salt shakers then it has to be sent to the crushing factories. The purity of this orange rock salt is more than 97 % (NaCl). Its color is derived from different other minerals that cause different shades of orange in different mine faces. This orange rock salt is used for animal feed as animals lick salt or are shaped to be salt lamps. It is said that the luminous crystals of rock salt are known as one of the sources of ion production.
